What do you get when you combine beautiful families, warm – fall sunshine, a little bit of holiday giving spirit and a whole lot of love?

Well, just a few of my favorite things:  timeless family pictures, lots of laughter, and the feeling you get when you know you have helped others.

On a very cold morning in November, I met 11 families at Evans Park in Silver Spring, Maryland to capture the love and spirit of their families.  We snuggled, laughed, ran and played to keep warm.

And the feeling of warmth and love continued as I dropped off over 1600 diapers and bags of formula and wipes at the DC Diaper Banks.  Thanks to the generosity of my mini-session families, we were able to make sure a lot of little bottoms are dry and a lot of little tummies are full this Holiday season.
