I’m not sure if I loved Disney more as a kid or if I love it more now, as a mom.  OK.  I admit, I love it more now!

My heart about exploded when we turned the corner on Main Street U.S.A. and my youngest’s eyes lit up at the first sight of the castle.  I cry at Wishes, no matter how many times I’ve seen it.

I thought I’d take hundreds of pictures.  I was excited about the eye candy festival around every corner of Disney.  But more often than not, I choose living in the moment with my family, over capturing the moment with my camera.

There are no pictures that could have captured the moment when Sam squeezed my hand on the way to Big Thunder Mountain and said “this is my favorite memory mom!” or the joy I had enjoying the fireworks from a oddly quiet spot in the Magic Kingdom with Matt, or the “wow” that escaped Will’s lips as he experienced Star Tours.  Those are memories that I’ll have to keep tucked away in my heart.

Yet, it was important for me to try to capture a little bit of the magic so that when the weeks and months have passed we have something we can look back to remember all those magical moments we shared.  So here is Disney, through my lens.
