Paige was absolutely perfect.  She was such a sweet newborn and a beauty to photograph.

This little one gave me quite the fight when I arrived.  She was alert and cooing and was not having any of my baby whisperer tactics.  I’m happy to report, after a full tummy and some rocking and shushing mama and I were able to get this little one to sleep and from that moment on she was the perfect model.

One of the things I love about photographing newborns is capturing the little details that make them so uniquely them but that change so fast.  I can’t get enough of those newborn toes and I’m not ashamed to admit that I have a thing for peeling newborn skin.

I loved spending time with this family.  Mom was so relaxed and a total natural.  She was born to be a mom!  And I don’t know that I have ever met a Dad more smitten with his little girl.   I even got to spend some time with Grandma, who I kind of wanted to steal and bring home with me!  Getting to know my clients and being a part of this special time is one of my favorite things about my job!
