As a new mom I spent hours memorizing every little newborn details of my babies.  From the peach fuzz on Will’s shoulder to the stork bite’s on Sam’s eyelids.  Every little thing that made them so uniquely them.  I tried to imprint those vivid details on my mind so that years from now I’d be able to recall them.  But like so many of life’s details they have started to blend together.  What’s a mom to do?

I love to take a step back during each newborn session to study your baby.  Too focus on those things that change too darn fast, so that years from now, when the memories start to blend together, you can look back on your newborn portraits and recall every last detail.
